    Poorly sleepy puppy
My puppy (A Yorkshire terrier) played happily at my friends house this morning and then after lunch went to sleep. I woke him to put him in the car to come home. 3pm.
Then fed him and he went for a wee n poo (normal, then he went back to sleep again and if I wake him, he just goes back to sleep again so Ive left him. Its now 7pm and he is still asleep on his bed.
I know if they are poorly then nature makes them sleep to mend what is wrong, but
This just isn't right. He is not crying and Ive felt him all over and nothing hurts.
Maybe he has eaten something he shouldn't have in her garden. Any advice please.
    He is 13 weeks old.

If there are no signs of distress I'd just say he's a baby and he's tired.

I don't think 3PM-7PM is excessive. I have very large dogs and as growing puppies they would sleep for at least that long in the afternoon.

Of course, if you feel that there is a problem - and owners tend to be intuitive - then go to a Vet and make sure.

Please come back and let us know how things are going.
