    Thermostats & baseboards
Hi ! I renovated my house three years ago I change my baseboard and thermostats in the kitchen and the livingroom, the brand of thermostats is maison and baseboard is stelpro. At first everything was fine but now my 2000 watts baseboard in the livingroom who is connected alone to one of the thermostat is not working anymore I know it's not broken cause if I bypass the safety on it ,it works. And in the kitchen I have two baseboard that are connected to the other thermostat, one is 500 watts and the other 750 watts ,the 500watts have the same problem as the one in the livingroom.I changed the safety on the 2000 watts baseboard but the problem is still the same. I know that it is illegal to bypass the safety but I did it just to confirm that the baseboards works. Thank-you for any suggestions or advices I could use Richard.

Would seem to me if you bypassed the high limit safety and the units works, then it is the problem.

Then need to use a voltage tester at each point of the circuit checking for 240 volts.
