From you I can tolerate it, from most guys, not so much.
Babe is usually used when a guy is talking down to me, but I know you're not, so it's all good. :)

I'm on the same situation...
Anyway, here's a weird story that happened today.
This morning, I dreamt that a friend at school (smaller than me whom I know well) was giving me a brown puppy his dog gave birth a couple of weeks before. Delighted, I accepted. He brought the pup to school and I got the chance to meet it for the first time, played with it and had to go to the physics class. After that, I quickly went to his class (his physical education class was over) and put the pup in my bag, taking care that it won't get squashed. Then, I woke up.
I was going out to buy the daily bread, and a puppy appeared from nowhere! It was in the garden. It was a pup of several months old I should say, dirty and had some bruises here and there. Dixy (my female dog) wanted to play with it (it was a male). I knew that we couldn't keep it (broke my heart, it seemed desperately looking for a master). I had to put it out of the garden. Later on, I didn't see it again.
When I came back from school, there it was, waiting in front of the gate. My mother was probably the one who put a bucket near the gate so that the pup couldn't enter the garden by passing underneath it. Until now, the pup is still there, at the gate. I don't know what to do of it. My sister said that it went to the neighbour's, and they put it out too, preventing it from entering their garden by placing a sheet of wood at their gate.
I told my mum to leave it to the MSPCA a while back. She doesn't want for fear that it pees or poops in the car.
:(
*Don't forget, I cannot post pictures for lack of equipment. :(

Unky, don't you have a dog pound or shelter? Most shelters will come and get the dog from your property.

I wish I could help Unky.
Is there a number you can all for the MSPCA (was that it?) maybe they can pick up the pup.
