Need to Install switch / power for Exterior Lamp Post
I've completed the installation of my exterior lamp post which includes running the wire underground and to the house. I'd like to tap into the power source for the existing outside light. Can this be done correctly by jumping or pigtailing from the inside switch? I'd like to install an additional switch next to the one for the existing outside light but not sure how to tap into the power at that source. Thanks for the help!

It depends on how the existing switch is wired. Tell us how many wires and what color are in the switch box.
