    Tachometer quit working
    I changed the transmission in 97 ford taurus 3.0 efi .
    The engine races like the accelerator is to the floor and my tachometer isn't working
    Any suggestions on what to check would be appreciated

    . Check for codes.

    . Check/replace the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).

    . Take apart the dash and get your hand behind the instrument cluster and firmly push in on the connections. If the tachometer continues to not work, replace the instrument cluster.

    The speedometer and tachometer in 97 taurus quit working
    I changed the transmission in 97 ford taurus, now the speedometer and tachometer doesn't work! Any suggestions on what to check? The speed sensor is good and both are plugged in good
