    Can a gas dryer be converted to an electric dryer?

    Nope - the internal guts are completely different.

    I assume you are asking about converting the dryer itself. Of course, it's pretty straight-forward to replace an old gas dryer with a new electrice one in your laundry room - as long as you have an appropriate 220V outlet nearby.
