    False reporting
In June I had enough of my crazy wife and went to talk to our family doctor about the way she is to see if she could be removed from the home and placed somewhere to get her the help she needs. She was afraid of losing the kids and had me arrested of false accusations for the 6th time in the past 4 years. Every time it has been dismissed and one time beaten in trial with the fastest jury decision in Logan County. She has false reporting on her record, has documented mental illnesses, has been in a lot of trouble, and has done this to many other men. I have so many witnesses on how she is and how she has done this to many other people that it is unbelievable, but they have always taken me to jail even though there was never anything wrong with her. She is a known pathological liar and has admitted that she has lied on me to have me arrested in the past to a public defender of mine and our pastor and his wife. She had me removed from the picture to get everything, and put me in a bad situation. While I was in jail she false reported against my mother, and my brother, and threatened my aunt and the DA would not pursue charges or have them arrest her, but she is able to have me thrown in jail at the snap of her fingers. It has caused me and my children much grief, and because she has everything she also has care of the children. I have had them 14 out of the last 19 days since I have been out since August 19th, and am unable to get assistance cause she will not sign anything telling the truth about how much I have had my children while she receives full benefits from social services. At the beginning of August, while I was still in jail, she moved a married man into my house, with my children, who does not have custody of his own 4 chlidren because of meth but can live with mine. I have reported all of these things to social services but they will not do anything until something happens to them. They did an investigation and saw how everything that I told them was true, but the mental and psychological abuse they have been put through by here because of her mental instability is not enough for them to take a way the kids. They said every time we went over the kids looked all right and the house was clean. And that crazy people and drug addicts raise there kids everyday and there is nothing they can do. My kids are going to go through horrible things with her and are going to be taught badly. I am in fear for there safety and do not know what to do or who to talk to. I would have done something before if I would have known what to do and would have had her removed from our home. I am lost and getting screwed royally and do not know what to do. Not only that I had shoulder surger 8 weeks before I went to jail and 2 weeks before that I was in a car wreck that was the other persons fault and hurt my shoulder, neck, wrist, and elbow and am having nerve problems ever since the wreck. I informed the nurse at the jail about these things and told them I needed to continue my physical therapy so that my shoulder was rehabbed properly. And also told her that the insurance was already paying for everything on my rehab of those injuries, but they neglected to let me continue with my physical therapy and they did not let me take the prescriptions I was prescribed. For 2 1/2 months I dealt with this until I could afford to get bonded out. This county is doing this to a lot of men and the DA pursues these cases with no proof what-so-ever, letting wives do this to their husbands. I am trying to put a stop to it and getting something done to where they investigate this county and replace the crooked people. Please give me some advice on what to do!! Or an attorney I can speak with to help file a lawsuit against this county!! Thank you, John Irwin

Please post your question once - also, can you explain simply what it is you are trying to accomplish?

This is not a discusson board, it's a legal board. What legal advice are you looking for?

If you need/want an Attorney call your local Bar Association for a referral.

You need to stop your ex wife, not the county. Consult an attorney about the exwife. If she has done this to your relatives, maybe they can help with the attorney's fees to make sure she stops this false police reporting. Have a group get together with those who were falsely accused and see what you all can come up with (money wise) and consult a good attorney.

Going against the County will definitely get you nowhere fast and cost you a lot getting there. A lawsuit against the County will take years to accomplish and truck loads of money you will have to pay out up front in hopes of winning the case. The case against the exwife would basically be a slam dunk. I'd go after the exwife as that's a winnable case.

There will always be "County corruption" to contend with. You don't sound like you are in such a position to tackle the County right now.
