Cause of blown head gasket honda civic
I recently had the oil changed in my 95 civic & 2 days later it blew a head gasket. Could this of happened as a result of some error during the oil change? Could they have forgotten to do something or somehow did something to cause this to happen? Thanks on advance for any insight!

There is nothing in an oil change has any thing to do with your head gasket, id say from the fact it's a 95 civic it have around 180,000km on it, it would be more likely from where and tear more than anything :)

Blown head gaskets are usually related to an aluminum head engine having overheated at some point in time. It's often accompanied by the head warping (cause of the blown gasket) and the valves being damaged. Repairs can run $2,500, if that's what's involved with your car. Anytime an aluminum head engine overheats, have the car towed. This link may be informative:
