    Hi, paraclete!

So, what is your point in posting that, please? It represents a dichotomy of thought not conducive to a platform for debate or argument. In other words, it makes no sense except in the consideration that there will be people who'll take both views concerning that which is stated by what you posted.

Some people will always take to the route of least resistance and go for that which is popular, even when doing so might be the incorrect thing to do, in spite of what statisctics and/or evidence tell us what would be the best route to take as far as having a viewpoint or legislative opinion that might become law in some way.

    Thanks!

Every now and again I find interesting statements which truly address the paradox of modern society. On the one hand you have those who think that if you cannot afford the costs of living in a modern society it's your fault for being born in that time and that place, one could call this the Darwinist view.
There are those who think that they have an inalienable right to every convience and care just because they are there, there are always those who think someoneelse should pay the bill, and there are those who see it as their
Given task to provide every amenity to those who cannot afford it by extracting as much contribution from those more fortunate as they can. Then we have those who have no intention of parting with any contribution to the help of the great unwashed and you have every point in between.

You suggest there is no room for debate therefore placing yourself in the Darwinist camp, I on the other hand think all points of view should be vigoursly debated because we only progress as a society when we have a full and open dialogue:D
