Muttlover, this was probably the question you should have asked when you first posted. It is easy to start any business, it is the marketing and follow through that are the tough parts if you don't have any experience in these areas.
Here is a link to get you started. Start A Dog Walking, Pet-Sitting Business - Entrepreneur.com If you do a search on: "How to start a dog walking business" you will get a lot of hits. There are a number of books on the market that cover how to start and operate businesses that are pet oriented. Many of them are sold online. I think before you consider purchasing one of these books online, you might want to take a trip to your local library or a large bookstore (Barnes & Nobles, Borders) to see what resources they have on the subject. |
