    Moving a tub & drain
I am interested in moving a tub from it's current position (long side against left wall of square bathroom) to the back part of the bathroom (long side against back wall of bathroom). This would require a repositioning of the drain.

How difficult would you estimate this task, and what would be my first steps? Thank you.

We'll neerd more information. Type of tub. Steel, plastic or cast iron? Where will the tub drain be in relation to the trap after it's moved? Is the tub on a slab or can you get to the pipes underneath? What type of drainage pipes do you have? Cast iron or plastic? And last. Do you have the necessary skills to do the job? Back to you. Tom
