    Squealing Ceiling Fan
I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan that used to wobble. I've adjusted the blades & fixed this problem but it still squeals now & then. Do the blades need further adjustment or do these need periodic oiling?

I do oil mine sometimes, but usually just the one outdoors. Is it really dry in your home?

    You can try oiling:

But you may have some other issues here, especially as it's a Hampton Bay. Anything rubbing?

Furnace squealing [ 1 Answers ]

Hi, we have an "Airco" brand furnace that dates to the 60s. It's well-maintained. However, it has just started to emit an erratic, loud squealing noise. We changed the belt (and filter) to no avail. We cannot see anywhere to add oil. Is there anything else we could try? Thanks!
