She is a minor and depending on her age he will get in trouble for something no matter what you want to label it.
Dude got one count for each thing he did (IN Pa) all in one night (about 3 hrs) something like 7 counts got him 17 yrs.
Each thing each time in Pa is ONE count.

Exactly where is it established she is a minor, seriously I've looked and can't find it in this thread? That number is not the same in every state... and I have failed to find any mention about her age.

Is it less than 14? That's the only universal age that would be statutory rape... SOme states 16 is the age of concent... and some others its 18. Without hard numbers and state this occurred there is no way anyone can say if it was legal or not.

Pa Law only applies if they were PA residents, or visiting it... if Someone crosses the state line to a state that has a lower concent... they can still be prosecuted in their state of residence... Transporting a minor across state line for an illicit act is itself a crime if the parents choose to pursue it.

But we still need both their ages... we are only guessing without them.

I know anything under 16 in the USA is definitely minor.
Many states say 16 yr olds can be with up to 4 yrs older. 16-20, 17-21
Some states say 16 can be with any age 16 and up.

OP really needs to come back and say what state and ages that these things happened.

THere are two states that where the age of concent is actually 14... I forget which two... but this question came up last year and I looked it up, I thought it was just one state at the time, sort of shocked me, because no 14 year old is THAT emotionally mature. Who in their right mind would want married at 14 is beyond me... but the fact remains... its determined by state laws... and they can vary considerably. We do really need more info from the OP.

Here is the link to the PA law if that is the correct jurisdiction.

I can't cut and past the contents due to how the page is encoded.

Its possible it has changed in the last year... 14 did seem sort of absurd anyway. 16 is reasonible. Not that I would ever chase after a 16 year old... hell when I was 16 I was chasing after older women...

And the average 16 year old is hardly mature enough to be left alone at home a few hours... in this country anyway.

Exact ages would be helpful. If the OP's best friend is say, eighteen, and the girl friend seventeen, it would really suck for the friend to have a sexual offender title hanging over his head for the rest of his life.

With that said, she's obsessed with the ex boy friend, and wants to get back with him. She willingly performed oral sex on him. He's a slime dog for using her feelings in order to get sex, but I certainly don't think it constitutes rape.

I suggest that the OP ditch his best friend, and tell him why.
