    Buying a 1995 BMW Good decision?
    Is buying a 1995 BMW 5 series for $2000.00 a good deal? I desperately need a car for transportation and I have a young family of 2 and I can't afford to break down. Please tell me am I making a good decision...

    How many kilometres (miles) has it travelled?

    The higher the mileage the more wear and tear on the engine.

    It would also pay to check if there are any BMW parts retailers in your area as here (I am in Australia) they can be expensive to fix as the parts are considered 'rare'

    They require an above-average amount of maintenance. I'd buy a Honda or Toyota, instead.
