    2002 nissan altima sunroof won't close
    I changed my battery in my 2002 Altima. Afterwards I opened the sunroof and it now won't close. I reset the sunroof memory by holding the up button for 30 seconds. It did reset (it made 2 clicking noises), but it still will not close. Not sure where the fuse is either.

    Need help- it is supposed to rain soon

    Repeat the reset procedure to see if that helps.
    If the switch worked in both directions before, it should work now. If not, get it under cover until you can test for power at the sunroof motor.

    Pop open the area where the button is to open and close the sunroof and then take a screw driver and unscrew the 3 screws holding the plate on the motor open the cover and then manually crank the roof closed by holding the screw driver in the crank (white piece) and turn. I need a new motor.
