    Electrical problems
    Hi all,

    I have a problems with my electrical outlet in my room . I connected my portable AC to outlet and it's blew out . I checked all outlet in my room are no power . The other rooms are OK. Can someone please show me how to fix that . Thanks a lot in advanced .:)

    Check the electric panel for a tripped breaker or ARC fault. Do you know where the panel is and how to check breakers?

    First, Thanks a lot ballengerb1 for your reply . I know where electric panel , but I'm not sure how to check the breakers .Can you please show me how... Once again, thank you so much for your time .

    Please call an electrician. From the sound of it this is not something you should be messing with.

    Are you the homeowner?
    Are you in the US?

    To some extent I agree with Stan.

    But, I would say call a neighbor or friend. Anyone who knows even a little about electricity in homes will know how to check and reset a breaker.

    I just do not see the need for an electrician at this point. This could be a tripped breaker. Go to the panel and inspect all breakers to see if all levers are in the same perfect row, if one is slightly more to the outside than others flip it further to OFF, then back the other way to ON. Back to you tech
