Which way do I turn bolts on my troy built pony model # 13AN689G766 to take blade off

Usually "righty tighty, lefty loosy". Usually it's technique and having the right equipment. There is some mention how to take blades off in the sticky.

1. You need to block blade from turning with a piece of wood.
2. Get a six point socket, not 12, not a wrench, unless 6 point
3. Use a breaker bar on the socket (long handle, no give)

From now on, put some Anti-Seize compound on the threads.

Hi,
Counter-clockwise with a 5/8" socket on the center. If you are lucky, blade and adapter will slip off as an assembly.
