    Evicting a son
My son moved in with me Oct. 07 shortly after the death of my husband. I told him he could stay up until July 2008. While he does not always stay here, he comes and goes as he pleases and has furniture, vehicles and tools and equipment stored here. I want it all --and him--gone.

May I ask why? He probably though and, still thinks, he was trying to give you some support. You could just tell him how you feel and ask him to take his stuff away, or have you tried that already?

I have definitely tried telling him that I prefer to live alone and have suggested that he buy his own house in Florida if he wants to live here. He tells everybody that he is helping me with my property in return for being able to live here but he does only what he wants to do. I feel he wants my property and he wants too much control over my life.
At least just now he has agreed to pay rent on another property I own. Since there is not enough space there for his extra vehicles and other stuff, he wants to continue to keep stuff here.
I've suggested I may want to rent this out at snowbird season so he needs to rescue his stuff.
This has all happened (his wanting to pay rent and my idea of renting out this place) since my earlier post today.
