    Ceiling Fan wall switch hookup.
    I am trying to figure out how to hook up a ceiling fan to a wallswitch. Currently the light works from a wall switch , but not the fan. Fan only works from pull chain. Can you tell me how to get fan and light to work off wall switch?

    Thanks, Henry E. Schlatre::)

    Once you pull the chain and get the fan to start you can then turn both fan and light off at the switch. The drawback will always be when you want one or the other, then you must go back to using the wall switch. The wall switch sends power to the unit but pull chains tell if the fan or light will get their share of the juice.
