    Blower partially works
First off Monday air froze up I thawed and it seemed to work OK. Yesterday it worked not as cool as should have been but it worked non stop. Today we put refrigerant in it. To help but I noticed it was not blowing as strong. We removed the cover from unit. Mobile home when we removed cover more air blew really noticeable. What can this be is this an easy fix or No? Help!!

Putting more refrigerant in an a/c without having the proper diagnostic tools may actually make the situation worse, not better and may harm your unit having too much freon in it. Would suggest you call out a repair person to properly test and fix your unit before you make more of a mess out of it. There may be a component that went bad or is going bad. Usually when a unit freezes up it's the relay switch, not more refrigerant needed. Please don't try and fix it yourself as you just might ruin a perfectly good unit for want of a relay switch.

[QUOTE=twinkiedooter;1858600] Usually when a unit freezes up it's the relay switch, not more refrigerant needed. QUOTE]

There are plenty of reasons a unit freezes up and one of the main ones is low refridgerant levels. Also a slowed fan due to weak capacitor, dirty coil, dirty filter, restriction in suciont line and on and on and on. Not sure what relay switch would be bad to make it freeze execpt relay for blower motor. If that was the case blower would not be running...

Who added refridgerant? Might want to call an hvac company to do a full maintenance.
