Last night I met a very cute girl, amazing personality and very pretty. We hit it off big time, at least I think we did. Both were completely sober, both were very responsive to touches, a whole lot of flirting. By the end of the night she even rested her head on my shoulders. I really just want to know.. what now? How much contact should I keep with her without her thinking 'this is too much'. I did talk to her on Facebook before this encounter, and she was just very responsive to everything. Bummer is that I won't be seeing her again until August 22. Help me friends! :)

Things are casual, just have fun. Don't worry too much. If she likes you, she will still be around.

Don't "Just sayin' Hi." If you think of something she'd like to hear/see, send it. Otherwise, be cool.

The easiest way, not to get carried away, is keep doing what you were doing before she came along. Don't talk yourself into something with out checking things out, then your expectations are to high to be objective. Be cool, as was told you, and see what happens. Just enjoy yourself doing your own thing.

Just wanted to update people on my success story!

Starting with the beginning, I got dumped 7 months ago. I begged my ex to come back to me for the next 4-5 months looking like a fool. I would cry every day, and every time I talked to her I would cry and hurt inside. This past June, I asked her one last time if she would take me back, she said 'No, I don't love you anymore'. That was basically the closure I needed to get up and move on. I initiated NC in June, so it has been a little over a month since we have last spoken, I have NO idea what's going on in her life and I like it better this way. After initiating NC, I got the courage to go back out again and see what is going on with people I neglected to hang out with while I was in a relationship. As this thread title says, 'I met a beautiful girl'. We started talking and we both hit it off big time! Now just recently, she admitted to the fact that she really likes me! So, it looks like I'll have a girlfriend in the Fall Semester of school. What I'm trying to get at here is that if you have been dumped, GO OUT AND HANG OUT WITH PEOPLE! The more you go out, the more people you will meet. And who knows, one of those people might be your significant other. This girl I met is a lot more compatible with me than my ex was, and it feels so invigorating that there is someone else that feels the same way. Eventually, you guys will stop missing your ex and will start missing a new person :). Good luck to you all! Just really wanted to share the story of my new love interest!
