Ok. Here's my question. It might be a little bit complicated. I was on the 3rd week of my birth control pills. I usually take my pill at about 9 am. Well, on Monday I didn't take it until about 9 pm because I forgot. My husband and I had sex that night. I have taken all my pills since then at 9 am like usual. That would be 4 days of taking them on time. I took my pill late on Monday and then, I believe, because of this I started my period on Thursday instead of Sunday like usual. The discharge is brown instead of red like blood and the bleeding is moderate, not heavy like on my normal 2nd day. Today, after I took my pill I started to feel what I would describe as a nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach. I got dizzy and shaky and I actually had to leave work early because of it. I got real flushed in the face then real pale. I felt like I was going to pass out and throw up at the same time. Could this be my body rejecting the pill because I'm pregnant? Is there another medical explanation that I might not know about.

Maybe you were dehydrated? Or maybe your iron is too low? The only way to know for sure if your pregnant would be to take a test. I'm really bad about taking my pill at the same time everyday. And sometimes if I forget to take it for as log as you forgot, it'll throw off my cycle a little. Like last month, I forgot to take it until really late, then a few days later I made the same mistake. And my period lasted about 5 days instead of my usual 3 and it was heavier than usual. Try not to stress. But you might want to talk to your dr. just to make sure everything is OK.
