    What symptoms are you seeing that indicate that you need to "reset" it.

    If by resetting you mean reinstalling it. You can do so by two ways:

    1. when you turn on your computer, there should be something on that screen that says to press Key F something to start up the recover options or to recover. Press that key and followed the instructions.

    2. use the backup/recovery disks that came with your computer. If they were not included buy them from your computer manufacture website. You might be able to created the disk using the software preinstalled in your computer.

    3. Hire someone.

    4. Buy a full disk (not upgrade) of windows vista or xp and use it to install your PC. You can do so in any retail store or at your computer manufacture website.
