My toilet ''half'' flushes every 30 seconds. WHY?
    Hi.
My toilet ''half'' flushes every 20-30 seconds. It's been doing that for about 1 week now and its really annoying!
Seems like the water in the tank is leeking down the pipes and the toilet fills up the tank every time.
    Someone help please!

Look inside the back of the toilet. Is the chain too long and getting stuck in the plunger thing at the bottom?

This used to be a problem with my parents toilet when I was younger, and we used to call it our redneck toilet. :)

Jennie could be right. Another problem could be just that the flapper valve is not seating due to a crack or a chip in the seat. Try wiggling it to see if it will seal.

Toilet continuosly flushes [ 4 Answers ]

When not being used, the toilet continuously flushes over time. It's like the toilet drains the water low over time to make it flush. I have changed out the flapper and still have the same problem. I did notice the tank is not level, could that have something to do with it?
