    Wiring new compressor fan
    I am replacing my Rheem AC Compressor fan. The old fan had 3 wires. Brown, Orange and Black. The new motor has 5 wires. Orange, yellow, Brown, Purple and Black. What do iI do with the Yellow and Purple Wire?

    Read the instruction and the wiring diagram on motor...

    You need to make sure you got a new capacitor that matches the motor. You have a 2 speed motor. It will say on the side of the motor how to hook it up.
