    AC won't come on
    The lightenng flickered the electric and the ac went off. I check the fuse box and it was not blown. I turned off the breaker and the thermostat and let it sit for a couple of minutes. I turned on the breaker and then thermostat and the thermostat clicked to trigger the ac but the ac won't come on. Is there another reset or fuse on the unit itself? It is a 1970's Coleman Presidential.

    You may have fuses on your outside disconnect.

    Is possible if all breakers are OK ,that the capicator has shorted ,is it swollen /bubbled up on top?
