AC fan runs but not cold air
Hi, I have an old Intertherm furnace with a packaged AC unit. I have flipped the switch to AC and put the fan on AUTO and the fan works. I'm not getting any cold (or cooler air) though. I was wondering if I need to turn off the pilot light for the furnace. Any suggestions on what the problem is. The sticker is still on the furnace but is so old I can't read any of it! Thanks for any help

Check the fuses/circuit breakers for the package unit. Now if you have a package unit for the AC outside then it will be self contained and if the evaporator blower out side is running you have a problem elsewhere.

Inside fan runs, outside fan runs, but air is not cold [ 8 Answers ]

The inside fan runs and runs, the outside fan on the compressor runs and runs, but only hot air comes out. I sprayed the outside compressor coils with the garden hose to clean them and checked the inside filter. Is there something else I could check? Thanks
