query on the value of RARE "ofortuna" apothesis vinyl
I have this vinyl record I bought a few years ago, and was told only 500 were ever produced. This record has never been played and is in mint condition. Does anyone know what kind of value this record holds. I was told to hold onto it when I bought it as it would be worth something in the future. Any suggestions much appreciated

Hi, a couple of things about your rare record,

Firstly the bet way to find out a record's value is to take note of all it's details, especially the label that produced it. If the label is contactable, or info on the label is available on line, try and find out about them. Sometimes labels only produce small amounts of one record because it is meant to be a genuine limited edition or that it is a commissioned pressing by a an artist with only enough money to make a few copies, like a self-funded pressing. In which case the vinyl would be only valuable if it is a sort after item. There are many limited edition pressings of records but not all are collectible. The artist's success and reputation, availability of their work and to some degree the age of the recordings has a lot to do with value. If your specific vinyl has never been played and is mint and there are only 500 copies, there is a good chance it is valuable. You could also try contacting Record Collector magazine in the UK, they have a team of qualified valuers who can probably tell you everything you need to know.

    Hope this helps,

    Leigh

Flying back from Madrid I heard this song on the inflight radio station, and now I can't figure out who sings it. It's a mellow sort of trance song, with this sultry woman singing in a low key way the whole way through. The chorus is this part where she sings, "Cause you're my number one..." ...

I have had several (about 4) post-vas semen analyses, each time I get the same result--rare non-motile sperm. The last one was over one year after I had the procedure. My pcp suggested I see a urologist who examined a fresh specimen and got the same result, but he said the sperm were not viable...
