Water continues to run from bath faucet while shower in use
Hi! I run the water from the tub faucet until it's the correct temp. When I lift the knob to engage the shower head, the shower starts, but quite a bit of water still pours from faucet. Any suggestions for repair would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your diverter is partially opened when it should not be. It can likely be rebuilt but we need to know what brand/model mixer you have to be more specific

You have one of two problems:

    1. Diverter spout is not functioning properly. Replace it with new one
    2. Too high water pressure. Adjust your water pressure to 55 psi.

Let us know how you did... Milo

This isn't excessive pressure. You have a bad diverter spout. Simply replace it. Good luck, Tom
