Building a shower stall base with waterproof membrane

I plan on ripping out the old tub in a mobile home, and installing a walk in shower. What is the correct sequence of steps required to build up the base, slope the thinset or cement, and install the membrane. Is there a video available. I plan on ceramic tiling the stall once it is ready.
Plywood for the shower walls?

I am building a house and it is to have a large walk in shower. The builder is recommending putting plywood on the shower walls instead of cement backer board. The shower is to be tiled from floor to ceiling. What do you recommend? Thanks Phil
Shower walls - replacement

Looking to replace free standing metal shower walls (32" X32"). The base is fine but the walls have rusted. Cannot find metals walls (or any other composition) that are free standing. Does any one know of a manufacturer or provider that still produces or stocks them?
