I need a waterproof paint for a cedar shower.
I have two cedar-paneled showers in my summer cottage that look pretty awful. Since the wood is not rotten (just unsightly), I'm hoping to paint over the wood with some kind of waterproof paint. Obviously I need something that can withstand frequent exposure to water, and that can be cleaned with non-scrubbing bathroom cleaner and a bleach solution. Would some kind of pool or marine paint work?

Tracy, 19 people have read your post with no responses. I think nobody can picture what you have, I certainly have never seen a wood lined shower. I could help you replace all of what you have with a fiber glass wall unit or even ceramic tile but no paint I know of will work in your application.
