    What exactly could "haha" mean?
Each time I say a joke, either when texting or chatting to this one girl, she answers simply "haha". I researched what this could mean on urbandictionary.com and this is what they said:

Short quick way of letting somebody know you are laughing, most likely at them.

    Another definition is:

Haha - The person does not think the comment is funny, but acknowledges your attempt humor.

I do not understand. What exactly does "haha" mean? Does she think I'm lame? Is she laughing at me?

    If it's important, we're both 15...

    Thanks, if you answer.

    It depends on the context,
It could be laughing because what you said was funny
Or laughing as in mocking you.

More than probably because it was funny but without knowing what you said we can't say!

Ha, ha is a laugh. She's laughing. Isn't that what people do when someone tells a joke?

Girls at that age often do not think boys' jokes are all that funny. A lot depends on how she acts and what she says AFTER the joke. Does she keep texting or chatting? Does she make an excuse to leave?

Yeah, she just keeps continues writing. She just keeps texting/chatting for a long, long time, and then just disappears very mysteriously.

I have an agreement with all my chatting friends to end each conversation with at least the words "bye for now." Of course, an explanation would be nice, but at least a goodbye is helpful so I don't sit there waiting for something to happen.

Yeah, you're right. But she just keeps going on and on, and when she disappears it's often three in the morning and I'm half asleep. Do not be mistaken - I do not stay up because of her, I usually chat or talk on the phone to usually 3 or more people at once.
