    Washing machine stops between cycles
My Whirlpool washing machine just stops between cycles. It does do it all the time. Maybe 10% of the time. Usually to get it going you just need to give the machine a bump. Although some times you need to turn it off and on again. Does anyone have any ideas on the problem and a fix for it?

Sounds like you have a dead spot on your timer. No repair if that's what it is, you replace the timer.
