    Vessel sinks slow drain?
I have installed two vessel sinks in our bathroom vanity. The drain is just and open type and there is no overflow. The sinks drain very slow, If I allow the water to raise half way or more it takes a few minutes to drain? Can this be improved?

Do your sinks gurgle while draining? Do both sinks come together to one lateral into the wall?

Couple questions. Did you have one or two sinks before. Did they drain well. No overflows,, are sink drain traps vented?

Ok, now here's a simple test. Remove drain stopper and see how sink drains now. If stopper was installed improperly, it just might not be opening enough to let water drain fast.

Sink w/o overflow will drain very slowly. Get drain strainer with largest possible openings so it allows as much water through as possible - but still, w/o overflow it will not drain as with overflow. That's a common problem with vessel sinks.

There are several drains that are made for vessel sinks, (see images)You should have one of these. Anything else and you have a air lock problem.
