    Moving Expenses - Two Trips
I moved about 1200 miles to begin a new job. It was cheaper for me to take two trips with my own car to move my things rather than renting a truck or hiring movers. Since the IRS information states that only one trip is allowed, how can I claim the additional moving expenses? Also, if I can claim these additional expenses, would it be included on line 1 or 2 of form 3903?

    Thanks for your time.

Yes, you can, if you can clearly show that two trips would have been cheaper than renting a truck.
