    My kenmore dryer is not heating
    Just stop heating all of a sudden how do I repair

    My guess is that either the thermal fuse has blown, or your heating element has burned out.

    Here is a link that may prove useful.

    If not the fuse, then the element itself may be burned out. This can also be easily checked with a ohmmeter. Or visually sometimes.

    The thermal fuse is generally really easy to replace; the element is a little more work but still doable for someone handy.

    Also, while you're back there clean out the lint from the vent pipe and the dryer itself.

I'm working on my mothr in laws 10 yr old kenmore dryer that runs, but the heat element does not get hot. I have taken the element out found no breaks in it, it ohms good. I have 110 volts on both wires to the element. What am I missing ?
