    Immigration, part of Homeland Security.

What's your interest in this, other than causing trouble?

Not to cause trouble, just tired of people taking advantage of the system that don't need the help, making our tax money unavailable for people who really need it.the people I'm talking about collect food stamps ,medicaid ,got married to a guy stationed in iraq but continues to have babies with her live in boyfriend, and works at a stripclub making a lot of money, and brags about how much extra money she gets from being married.its iileagal and I was just curious what I should do about this.there are a lot of people who need the goverments help ,she's not one of them!am I wrong but isn't this one of the reasons taxes keep going up?and we are in bad times with the economy let the people who aren't working and need the money to support their family get it!

Are you one of the people who needs the Government's help and can't get it?

Otherwise, call and report this "abuse." It sounds like it's less about marriage fraud and more about lying about income to get Government assistance but only you know that.

I thought you meant someone married a person in the Army in order to get into the US. It appears that someone is married to someone in the Army AND is getting benefits to which she is not entitled.

    Right?

I am not aware that the wife of a soldier cannot work and earn money PLUS collect part of his salary as his wife. As far as her job, which you may or may not find to be unsavory, I don't see how that factors into this nor do I understand that it matters that the husband is not the father of the child(ren).

You still sound like a busybody to me.

I don't need government help ,I'm self employed and make great money, and my girlfriend works at the same club.I just don't think its right for someone to fraud the gov for money that could be better used to fix our country or help those less fortunate.im a nice person who tries to do the right thing in life and be a good rolemodel for my 13 year old daughter.I was just asking for advice.thank you for your time and opinion.

You make great money and your girlfriend works at a strip club?

Anyway - I see nothing fraudulent going on here.

Maybe someone else who does will join the conversation.

I agree with Judy. Just because this woman is cheating on her husband doesn't mean she's scamming the government.

What proof do you have that she "gets money" from being married?

Apparently your life is an open book if you work in a strip club.

Also - no one can EVER prove the intent of a marriage (unless we're talking Immigration) so I would guess this is the end of that thread.

Ok - so this soldier, who is protecting YOUR freedom for about $26 dollars a day marries a friend so they can split about $300 a month in extra benefits and you come here to whine about it?

    God bless america.

    Judy,

I find it interesting that you are scolding this person and giving your opinion after you attacked me for telling someone that they were a thief and they are the reason prices are higher than they should be because of stealing.

You wrote that this is a legal board and you should only give a legal opinion. Now I agree with you on this thread and there is no doubt that this person has an ax to grind with the person he wants to screw.

    Have a good evening.

I've posted almost 15,000 times so if I don't remember what you're talking about I trust you will understand. I have absolutely no idea what the OP asked, what you said, what I said or, for that matter, who you are.

If you had a legal opinion and then went into a personal observation I don't know why I had a problem with your answer. If it was purely your personal opinon, it was out of place.

You will note here that I did give advice.

    EDIT: Just found the post!
    https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-...ml#post1758178

OP asked about the penalty for shoplifting twice. Your response? “Not only are you a thief I would hope you get deported. You are the reason why prices are so high. Companies have to hire security companies to worry about scum like yourself stealing from them.” followed by “Chuck, This guy steals everyday. There is not a shot in hell it has been more than a year since he stole. This guy has not just stole from this store he has stolen from other stores including the one he works at.”

I asked how you knew this person is scum and/or has stolen before, if you have psychic abilities.

After re-reading the thread I stand by my original post to you. You were out of line and offered no legal advice.

By the way, I don't call FrChuck, Chuck. You seem to get very familiar (including with me) very quickly.

I do not consider this response legal advice. Practice what you preach.

"YOU STILL SOUND LIKE A BUSYBODY TO ME". It would seem to me that is your opinion. As you wrote previously, this is a board about giving legal advice, not your opinion.

Usually you would call someone by the name they have on this board. So everyone on this board do not refer to this person as Judy. Refer to her as "______________. Fill in the Blank Judy. Sorry if I referred to you by name.

    Very childish of you, indeed.

And by the way, Altenweg brought up the same point in the thread about shoplifting. You may want to cyberstalk her, as well.
