So I usually have my period every 2 months. Last time I had it a month and a half apart instead of 2 months so I don't know what's going on. If I went back to 2 months I would be starting tomorrow. I felt like I was pregnant last week so sat I took a test it was negative. Yesterday started spotting like brown and dark blood just enough for a lite tampon. Well when I went put it it I hit something and it hurt really bad. I keep pushing so the tampon goes in but it hurts like hell. Im 21 yrs old I know how to put a tampon in and this has never happened to me before. I'm at work this morning and totally started, major cramps and everything. So much so that I took a norco. My question is why is it hurting so bad to put a tampon in? What am I hitting? Is it possible that I'm having a miscarriage? Please let me know what you think. I am very confused at the moment.

It could be so many things as your periods are not regular, you should go see a doctor and have them check you out at different times during a woman's cycle the uterus does lower making it easier for conception to occuur.

You may be pregnant but it's to early and not showing up on the hpt, so I would suggest you go visit your doctor and have them examine you and do a blood test for pregnancy.

There could be a multitude of things going on and you should be seen by a doctor to determine what the situation is.
