    It's used mostly for physics experiments. You can do experiments in mechanics. It's about as close to a friction-free track as you can get.

I have a 4 ft section of Hampton bay Track lighting. The instructions say do not cut. Can I cut it to size?

Anyone know why Hampton Bay track states that you cannot cut the track? Every other brand allows track to be cut to the needed length and Hampton Bay is worthless to me if I can't cut it.
