I have this best friend. We've known each other for about 8 months now. Me liking her has gone on and off. I liked her when I met her, then I didn't. Then I did 4 months after that, then I didn't. Now I do. And this time it's a big feeing. I've never felt this close to her and I wantg to be with her. The problem is that I've told her I've liked her before. And she told me that basically its not that she doesn't like me, but she wouldn't date her best friend. And I do respect that, but I just want to know if there's a way to change her mind. Maybe how I act, talk, do things when I'm with her. There is one more thing though. She's a big flirt. And she has a lot of boyfriends. But I want to believe there's hope for maybe somewhere in the future she can give me a chance for me to be hers. Can someone give me some tips on hwhat to do?

She already knows how you feel and she didn't return the feelings. There isn't much else you can do.

If she really did have a lot of boyfriends, then she has no problem giving some guys a chance, but you're not one of them. She doesn't see you more than a friend. Be happy that you are good friends and that she is still part of your life.

Maybe one day she will return the feelings, but don't hold out hope. Focus on moving on
And finding someone else.

Well the way to act around her is not like a friend. You need to tease her constantly. You need to end every conversation. You need to create a little mystery by doing something you wouldn't normally do. You need to disappear. You need to NOT listen to her like a friend would. In other words everything you are currently doing you need to reverse.

I personally agree with I wish... you have told her how you feel and she didn't feel the same way... maybe you should take that at face value?

and like I wish says... you could always hope she will change her mind, but isn't that a wast of your time and emotions?

lol or you can take Chuffs advice and become the opposite... I don't know how she feels about guy friends, but seeing as she said she could never date her best friend I can totally see where she is coming from (although you might not want to hear it)

But I have more guy friends then girl friends, and personally I could never date any of them... mostly because I have known them for a lot of years, but also because they are friends, and I could never see them as a potential date/BF etc. I just don't have that relationship with them...
