Whirlpool Senseon Dryer mondel# GEW9868KQ0 ran fine till I tilted it?
We just got this dryer from my girl friends boss. Whirlpool Senseon Dryer model# GEW9868KQ0 it had been sitting for over a yr but worked when they upgraded. We brought it home and I had to convert it from 4 prong 220 to 3 prong 220. When I plugged unit in it worked, could hear old dust rattling around and the feet were off balance. I leaned the dryer forward while I unscrewed the feet but dryer was still on at first. The cord pulled out while doing so and naturally the unit turned off. We were able to level the unit but when I plugged it back in and tried to turn it on again. Nothing. No power, the display isn't lit up at all, will not turn on when you hold any buttons down? Checked if outlet still has power and it does (welded for about 4 hours after)

Things I have done include checked outlet for power like mentioned above, attempted to check door switch. There is no indicator lighting up showing that it is open, I physically held it shut to see if that was the problem still nothing. And I tried to unscrew to bypass just in case switch is completely bad but the intentions seemed easier than the task turned out to be so I'm putting it back. I have tried to research, search for similar problems, seems mine is a little unique. Only found problems on thermal switches needed replaced. I'm actually thinking its something with the display. If it isn't getting any power or is bad then it wouldn't be able to tell the unit to turn on?

I think you pulled a wire out. Disconnect the dryer and use an ohmmeter to check for continuity from the plug end of the cord to where it connects to the dryer. I'll bet one of the wires that connects from the outlet to the drier is not connected -- possibly cut.

I would usually agree but the plug ends have loops and are screwed into the contact. Ill go triple check just because I'm desperate. I agree just because I think it is something simple. Possibly and ciruit braker? Don't know. Thanks you for trying though
