    Is it o.k to honeywell wiring
    Someone please help answer this I have a honeywell thermostat.the wire colors are r,rc,b,w,g,y. is it o.k.to hook blue to w,and white to y, to see if that will make the a/c come on?

    R is generally jumped to Rc UNLESS 2 low voltage power sources.

    Rc to Y; turns on outside unit
    Rc to G; turns on inside fan

    For AC, the thermostat controls the fan

    Make connections with power off and wait about 5 min after power up. You can blow the main AC fuse if the compressor turns on after just turning off.
