I need some help. My boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years and when we started dating our sex life was great. Almost once a day. Now as I've noticed its gone to absolute crap! We never have sex anymore and he claims he's not into it or he could be doing something else or he's too tired or he's in pain. Its gotten to the point where I'm luck to get any once in 6 weeks... I try and initiate it all the time. Ive done literally EVERY thing possible from advice from my friends. Im sexually frustrated beyond belief and no matter what I do he just has no interest in me. We have had multiple discussions and arguments about this and I have ruled out that he is cheating on me or gay. I don't know what to do. Oh and when we do have sex I'm lucky if it lasts 8-10 min and that's including foreplay and clean up... Anyone have any suggestions for me? How can a guy take cleaning over sex... he would rather vacuum the house then sleep with me.. I've had it

I wish he'd clean more thou

We do have sex and its great when we do just on his terms and that's rare in our house

Someone sent me a message saying maybe my bloke has a low sex drive, maybe that's the same with your man?

I don't know if this will be particularly helpful but I was talking to a male friend recently and he was saying that he loves his girlfriend and knows she is attractive (I agree she really is) but for some reason he doesn't want sex with her as much anymore, they've been together about 2 years I think.

One thing we came up with was that I change my image fairly frequently, like I change my hair colour or style or how I have my makeup or whatever and we were saying that probably this is a good tactic in maintaining long term relationships, it's like they're going out with a different hot girl every couple of years, you're still you, just different, variety is the spice of life after all! Heck everyone feels better after a haircut anyway right? X

I know this is an old thread but have to put in my two cents if anyone looks at it. There is a fallacy that men want sex ALL of the time. It's not true. Men get wrapped up with problems in their heads and that takes a lot out of us. Sometimes men do not want to initiate sex. Believe it or not, at times it can seem like work. You have to look at a lot of outside influences in his and your life. Does he have a stressful job? Does he have a lot of responsibility,, financial, on the job, family? All of these things can deaden a man's sex drive worse than a hammer to the... never mind. There are a lot of factors to look into. The best foreplay is talking to each other.
