My landlord selling my house fixed term agreement
My land Lady and husband is selling there house, we signed a contract for a 2 year fixed term, she has now advised me they are putting the house up for sale. I expressed my concern due to the contract and she advised I am obligated to stay for the two years but if she sells the house she can give me 8 week notice!! This some how does not seem right? Can some one advise please.:confused:

Read your lease carefully. Does it say anything about them having the right to terminate the lease if they sell the house? If the lease mentions it then it is a contract and you have to follow its terms. If the lease doesn't mention it then the new owner has to honor the full term of your lease.

Hello, Our landlord is selling the house we're renting. Our lease is March 1 2008 to March 31 2009. He says any new owners will have to honor the lease till it expires. Here's where I'm confused, as I was just reviewing our lease. It states:
Do I have any legal rights? How long so I have before I have to physically move out ot the house? Do I still need to pay rent until I move out? He has partial last month and a cleaning deposit and he is about to turn the house over to the bank in foreclosure! I live in Arizona
Landlord is selling house; 10 months remaining on a 2 year Rental/lease agreement. If he sells the home, do I have any reprocussions? Is it possible for the Land lord to pay for a local move (San Diego)?
I would like to how long I have before I have to move after my landlord sells the house I am living in?
