Why won't my dog walk outside?
My dog is about 6 mnts and she will not walk she's kind of a bad dog and my sister wants to get rid of her because she won't stop biting things and ripping things and she won't walk outside with or without a leash so then she does all her business inside which is starting to make the house smell a little so what can I do cause I do not want to give rid of her :(

How much training have you done?

How old was the dog when you got her?

6 months is still only a baby :) That's very mean wanting to get rid of her because she is misbehaving a bit.

Perhaps there's too much noise outside... Try make your pup go out on calm, quiet times during the day. Early mornings are generally best. You could also try leaving some food trail behind you, and make her follow you, make her get used to the outside environment.

I have plenty of training tips but I'm not going to type them all out unless I know if the puppy is actually lead trained and they have made an effort to toilet train her. :p

I will however make a point about ripping things up...
Usually dogs that are destructive are bored!
You need to provide her with plenty of exciting toys so she can focuss on those instead of things she isn't meant to be chewing...
Kong toys are great... they are a rubber ball basically with a hole in one end that you put kibble in... they spend hours trying to get the kibble out...

Dogs need to be stimulated... you would be bored to death if you had to sit at home with nothing to do...

Won't walk on a leash [ 12 Answers ]

I have 7 y.o. Lhasa apso that I rescues 1 year ago. She was found with her collar embedded in her neck, and it had to be surgically cut out. She will not walk with a leash, and she is a different dog if I even put a collar on her (and I don't blame her.) She actually visibly shakes sometimes...

Puppy won't walk on a leash [ 1 Answers ]

How do you get a puppy to walk on a leash. He is very scared of it. I have attached it to his collar and let him just walk around with it dragging behind but that hasn't helped his "fear" of the leash. He just won't budge. I have tried to give him treats also to get him to walk. STUBBORN! He...
