Why do I like cutting
I have been cutting on and off for about 2 years, its not that bad, usually just scratches, but there's on spot on my arm where I ALWAYS do it and its gotten so I really like the feeling of cutting it, and I crave the feeling of either scratching it or cutting it, so my question is why do I like it in that one spot? What makes me enjoy it?

Im not an expert or anything, but maybe its because its so familiar that you want to keep going back to it. Try to ignore your longing, and think of other things. Also, you could try to keep busy whenever you get the urge to cut yourself. It could possibly become infected if you keep cutting yourself in the same place, so try to avoid it. Also, don't take things out on yourself, maybe if you've got a punchbag or something, then every time you feel depressed (if that's the reason you're doing it), smack it. Hope this helps you. :)

Cutting...
When you cutt it releases endorphins and thus the pain is dulled. Problem is after the endorphins are gone you crave more, and when you think about cutting your brain releases dopamine from your appititive plearsure system, but the dopamine won't stay for long as you need to be stimulated in new and exciting ways for it to come about. So those of us who cut, yes me too, want to cut deeper, harder, and more. We can become so addicted to it we cut for no reason other than the feeling it gives us, we don't need an upsetting issure to start it up.
See, endorphins are not only a natural pain killer that dull our pain reseptors, but it also acts as a aid to serotonin which causes us to feel joy, happyness, and even delutional euphoric episodes or as most will call them Manic states. (F.Y.I. Love, Cocaine, and Mania are all very close to the same expereince, so close that few can tell the difference between the feelings described by each.) So, we become sad/depressed/emotionally disstressed and so we cut to make it go away. This releases the endorphins causing a feeling of dulled pain, since it's mild, maybe even joy or more to the effect of saticfaction of the appatitive pleasrue system (dopamine). Then we crave it.
It is unclear as to why you like this one particular spot, but I'm willing to place my bet on the more you cut there the more you associate that feeling of "saticefaction" with that particular spot being cut.
Does that make sense?
