    KitchenAid oven won't heat
After self-clean, I can turn on the oven, set temperature, hear motor/fan turn on, but element does not even get warm.

Does element have power to it?
    Is element burned out?

Can you get an ohmmeter and, with the power off, check the continuity across the heater element? You will probably have to remove the wire from one side of the element to make sure that you're testing continuity through the element.

If the element is not burned out, ensure that power is present at the element. You need to connect test leads to the ends of the heater element and connect those to a volt meter (on the 250 VAC scale). Turn the oven on and check for power. If you read 0 volts or anything close to that, then the circuit is not complete. The problem may be a broken wire, an open switch, or something similar.
