Drop Box Broken into, now they want me to repay.
So yeah, our office drop box was broken into, and my money order was in there. :( Now they have asked me to re pay it by another money order. On my lease it states that using the night drop box is OK, I was told that since the lease states that, then it is not my responsibility once the money order left my hand, and into the drop box. Is this true? Am I leagally responsible to pay ANOTHER $535 in rent?

You are responsible for your rent, yes. The money order is also able to be recovered. Contact whomever issued the MO and tell them of the situation. They will have procedures to handle this.
