    Hello everyone! I have three children two girls ages, 12, 7 and a 20 month old son with my husband. My girls father does not want to be apart of their lives. I found out that up until now he still does not own up to being their father with proven paternity. I don't collect child support because his job consists of illegal activities. I've been with my husband for 5 years my younger daughter calls my husband daddy because she does not know her real father. Should I consider stepparent adoption? My husbands idea.

    Good idea. You will have to get the birth father's permission for your husband to legally adopt them.

    Get an attorney to help you with this situation.
