    inequalities and making y the subject
    Please help! Does anyone know how to do the following sum:



    y-2x+3=0


    I WOULD APPRECIATE IT GREATLY IF SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME THE ANSWER AND TELL ME HOW TO DO THE SUM!!

    is an equation. You can rearrange it:



    If you plot y against x for all possible y, you'll come up with a line of slope 2 and y-intercept = -3.

    You can't add three things if you don't know what they are.

    Sum? I don't see anything of the sort here... but only rearranging the equation like Perito said... :(
